My Brother's Keeper 617 (MBK617) Mission is to provide youths with support, opportunities, and resources through education and skill development programs that will allow them to become successful and self-sufficient members of society.
We want to help young boys understand the community's purpose and provide them with the necessary skills to become successful and empower them to reach their full potential.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE
Started in December of 2020 MBK617's staff and volunteers dressed as Santa, his Reindeers, the Elfs, and the Grinch, to visit homes passing out gifts. ANNUAL COMMUNITY ALL-STAR BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Started in the summer of 2021 MBK617 hosted a community basketball tournament. Boys and Girls ages 12-18 got a chance to come together and show their amazing basketball talents. SUMMER AND RECREATIONAL TRIPS
During the summer MBK617 has organized many trips to let the youth enjoy their youth. Bike rides, Beach & Pool days, RC Racing, Paintball Day, Amusement Park, Sports Day, Visits to State Parks, Rock Climbing, just to name a few. The goal of these trips is to expose youths to people, places, or things outside their current environment. These trips also help to build a bond between youth and staff. We hope to continue to provide these trips as a staple part of our program.
Annual EASTER Bunny Drive
During Easter MBK617 brings the Easter Bunny to town to put a smile on the faces of many families. Passing out Easter baskets and toys the kids love to see the Easter Bunny.
